Then, enjoy a sweet stop at Big Island Candies, where you can sample and shop for their world-famous chocolate-dipped macadamia nut shortbread cookies, perfect to take home as a delicious souvenir.
Next, marvel at the beauty of Rainbow Falls, an 80-foot cascade where shimmering rainbows often form in the mist of the falls.
The highlight of your tour is Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, home to Kilauea, one of the world's most active volcanoes. Travel along a portion of Crater Rim Drive for breathtaking views of volcanic craters, rugged lava landscapes, and steaming vents. At Steam Vents Lookout, feel the warmth rising from fissures in the earth as you gaze out over Kilauea Caldera. Visit the Kilauea Visitor Center, where engaging exhibits showcase the park's geology, environment, and culture, then take in sweeping views of Halema'uma'u Crater, a pit crater at Kilauea's summit that has fascinated visitors for generations.
